DRESS THAT SUITS YOU BEST (promtimes.co.uk*)

12:35 PM

Hi Lavs!

Wedding season is here.. This month, I got like more than 5 wedding invitations, isn't that crazy? As much as I like weddings, sometimes it gives me headache when I am trying to find what to wear. Finding the right dress for a special occasion is not easy, I know, that's why I'm here to help you out.

Just a while ago, promtimes.co.uk contacted me to look at their website. They sell dresses for any occasion that you can think of. Wedding, prom, even bridesmaids dresses? They got it all covered. While browsing through their website,  I got the idea to write about what kind of dress that suits you best
Here are some of the tips that may can help you to find the one :)

Petite
For you my petite ladies out there, I suggest you to go with dresses that are shorter in length because sometimes long dresses may make you look even more petite.

If you want to go with long dress, I suggest you to go with something like this.

The sheer part of the dress will still emphasize your legs and make you look taller.

Apple body shape
Apple body shape is where your shoulder is wider than your hips area, this usually also apply for ladies with bigger bust.  My suggestion is to balance out the volume you have on the upper part of your body with the details on your hips area. That means you should go for plain top design with extra detailing at the bottom of the dress.

Pear body shape
Pear is the opposite of apple body shape where your hip area is wider than your shoulder. I personally identify my body type as a pear. What I like to do is highlight the shoulder/upper body area and go plain at the bottom.

Rectangle body shape
A rectangle body shape is where the waist is not emphasized enough, thus I suggest you to find a dress that will give you volume on top as well as bottom and it should be cinched at the waist.

Hourglass body shape
The most blessed body shape of all time since every kind of dress will look flattering on you ladies. Personally for me, I suggest hourglass ladies to emphasize the curves of the body, find something that is body hugging if you have it, flaunt it! :D

But again, no matter what your body type is, if you like the way it looks, go for it!
Fashion should be fun and experimental. These are just my humble opinion and suggestions. Hope you find it helpful!
