Hi Lavs!
Following my previous post where I show you all the sweet little things which I got from Etude house, I will do review for one of the products that I got. As the title said, this is gonna be a review of Etude house precious mineral bb cream (cotton fit) review

The formula of this bb cream claims to be whitening, anti-wrinkle and anti-darkening (means it won't oxidize on your skin). On top of that, it also claims to have SPF 30.
I honestly don't really care about the whitening and anti wrinkle, since I prefer skin care products for those aspects.
I really appreciate the anti-darkening in the formula though, since I ever experienced some foundation/bb cream that oxidizes really bad and got schocked when I check myself on the mirror!
For the SPF, I think it's great when you are in a rush and don't have time to put on sunscreen before foundation, but for me personally, it doesn't bother me much.
This bb cream doesn't have a strong scent which can be a plus point for some people.
Other than that this bb cream is also paraben free, artificial dyes free and benzophenone free.
SWATCH AND SHADE
I got the shade W13 and this is a swatch of it

After blending |
The texture of this bb cream is definitely thicker compared to other bb creams that I tried before. Maybe it's because I tried american bb creams before. This bb cream feels more like a foundation. By saying that, it takes more effort to blend it in (it's still nice and blend able though), and I think it's best to apply this bb cream with a kabuki brush.
COVERAGE AND FINISH
Coverage of this bb cream is GREAT! I didn't expect much at first, since bb cream usually gives sheer coverage. The coverage of this bb cream really exceed my expectation!
You can see that the bb cream even out my skin and cover my redness
Blemishes coverage is great! Eventhough it's not a full coverage with one layer, but for a bb cream, it's already outstanding performance! You also can build it up and get more coverage.
FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY TEST
Yes, as you can see from the picture. It has white cast.
It is obvious since the formula consist SPF, but, for SPF 30.
So if you know you're gonna take pictures with flash, it is better to stay away from this foundation
STAYING POWER AND OIL CONTROL
This is the foundation after 5 hours.
The coverage is still good, it fades a little bit, but still give a good coverage for my blemishes.
For the oil control, I did get oily around my T zone.
OVERALL
I think because I have oily combination skin, the poor oil control really is a minus point for me. I also think I prefer foundation with no spf, so I can use it for taking photo with flash, and when I need extra SPF I can just use my sunscreen.
And, that's all!
Hope that helped or entertained you in some way :)
